"All the flowers of all the tomorrows

- Native American Proverb

Welcome to my website

Here you’ll find books, essays and other writings of mine that I trust will bring you enjoyment, encouragement, and perhaps a few new ideas or possibilities.

I’ve been writing for publication for half a century and through the decades have relished seeing my by-line in national, regional and local publications. Awards have followed from The National Federation of Press Women, the California Newspaper Publishers Association, the International Angel Awards, the Seven Sisters Book Awards, Wishing Shelf Book Awards and others.

I’m told that I should describe myself in detail so that people will feel they know me. But, whenever I think of describing myself, the following Emily Dickinson poem springs to mind:

I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you a Nobody too?
Then there's two of us! Shhhh!
Don’t tell! they'll banish us you know.
How dreary to be Somebody!
How public, like a Frog
To tell your name the livelong day
to an admiring Bog!
